Steps to Set Up Chromecast to TV
Step 1: Initially, you should connect the Chromecast into the HDMI port of your smart TV. Then connect the USB power cable to one end of Chromecast and plug in the other end to the power supply.
Step 2: Now, download Google Home app on Android or iOS device from Google Play Store or App Store respectively.
Note: If you have already set up your Chromecast device, skip to Step 6
Step 3: Go to WiFi set up on your phone and connect to the WiFi network chromecastXXX.b.
Step 4: After that, open Google Home app on your mobile and tap on getting Started option. Alternatively, you can choose the device card to select Set up.
Step 5: Next, choose the Google Account that you want to link with Chromecast and tap on the OK option.
Note: Turn on the location service on your phone so that Google Home app can connect with a nearby device.
Step 6: Wait for Google Home app to scan for the nearby Chromecast device that is plugged into the TV. Select a device and tap on Next.
Step 7: Just wait for Google Home to connect the phone with Chromecast to further proceed with the configuration. On connecting to the device successfully, you will get a code on your TV. Tap on Yes if you have received a code.
Step 8: On the next screen, click on Yes to share your device stats and crash reports with Google. Else choose No, Thanks option.
Step 9: When prompted to set your region, click on region list > choose your region > click on Continue option.
Step 10: Now, you should either choose the room or create a custom room by clicking on Add custom room > type the room name > tap on Next.
Step 11: Just connect to the WiFi network or use the Ethernet connection.
Step 12: After that, click on the Continue option to allow Chromecast to use your Google Account.
Step 13: With this, a summary screen will be shown. Finally, tap on the Next option and then choose Continue.

Is it Possible to Setup Chromecast using Desktop?
